Photography from a rustic Cotswolds wedding

Photographers The Georges have captured my bespoke stationery designs at this charming wedding. Including the colourful menus, place cards and the ‘order of the day’.

Within the designs, the combination of colourful florals and uplifting illustrated scenes reflect the charming, down-to-earth nature of this rustic country wedding.

As keen cyclists, the couple chose landscape illustrations of their favourite cycling routes to label each of the tables.

We also repeated the motif of the couple cycling on tandem throughout the stationery and invitation set. It is visible here on the ‘Order of the Day’, which we printed on the back of the menus scattered over the tables – a charming and unique detail. I love that Rob & Lydia used stands made out of bark, which really add to the rustic aesthetic.

The illustrated florals were inspired by the bride’s bouquet and the flowers in the table decoration, which were picked by the bride herself. They appear on the Menus, the Place Cards, and on the Invitation (below) which detailed an itinerary of the day.

This invitation map of the day folds out to reveal all the fun to come. It includes the venue, the cake, the music, and a personal detail of the family dog.
