Olympia has recently hand-painted a boot room table in collaboration with Todhunter Earle Interiors, for an exciting project in Oxfordshire. Todhunter Earle asked Olympia to produce a design inspired by fruit and folk-like shapes, echoing the decorative wallpaper in the adjoining downstairs loo. Together they decided to paint the table in a dark under layer (Farrow and Ball’s ‘Downpipe’) and to add light creams, blues and a brighter red on top. The surrounding room is light and simple (other than a collection of wellington boots and country jackets!) making the painted table a unique and striking piece to welcome you in.
