I had the pleasure of working on a beautiful rustic wedding in Oxfordshire, where I created a full set of wedding stationery for Alice & Fred’s celebrations, to be set alongside a whimsical selection of wildflowers.
Firstly, we created a bespoke invitation set, to establish the tone of the upcoming wedding. We used modern calligraphy throughout, to create a sense of occasion, mixed with abundant florals and illustration in watercolour. The couple chose a gatefold style invitation, which opened up onto an itinerary ‘order of the day’ and a decorated insert invitation to a second-day event. I painted all the elements by hand, and organised printing with one of my trusted suppliers.

For the day itself, I created a bespoke menu design using motifs and florals from the invitation set, adding candles, a wedding cake and wine bottles. Instead of printing separate name cards, we printed the name of each guest at the top of the menu.

The couple’s favourite pubs labelled each table (and appeared again within the table plan itself) with calligraphy titles. These looked charming, cleverly pinned in among the wildflowers!

Please get in touch to discuss commissioning your own wedding or party stationery set. We can come up with a perfect theme and aesthetic to suit your wedding day.
