I had the privilege to work on some gorgeous late-summer weddings this year (and even to attend one of them!) This selection was really varied, with a range of wedding styles and different stationery needs.
August 2025: Ottilie & Cam

Ottilie and Cam’s wedding had a fun colour scheme of hot pink and yellow, so after one in-person meeting, we came up with the idea of a bold calligraphy invitation with a pink border, surrounded by yellow and pink motifs that create a feeling of love and fun.
They were also keen to include a monogram with their initials that could be repeated throughout their stationery, so we added some of the more simple motifs of stars and daisies to surround the letters O and C, which entwine together.

We created three variations of the main design: one for the invitation, one for the Order of Service, and one for the menus. I organised the printing for all of the stationery, through my local, trusted printers in Islington (London.) We also used the moon and stars motif to decorate double-sided place names for the sit-down dinner.

There was one more fun request from Cam, the groom, for me to create monogrammed stickers for small shoulders of Buckfast, which he gave to his best man and ushers!
August 2025: Bella & Rhys
Bella and her mother Jenny got in touch with me last Spring, with the request to create a wedding map that could be used on their invitations. We used a clean, green background, colourful illustrations for the house, church and local pub, and a blue font to match the formal invitation.

Later in the year, I heard from Bella and Jenny again, as they wanted to commission a set of two menus for the day in a rustic floral design, with some leafy place names, and finally a table plan encompassing twelve destinations that Bella and Rhys have visited together (one for each table.)

We decided to carry my style of modern calligraphy throughout the stationery for the wedding day. I love the chic feel the calligraphy adds to a charming menu of burgers, and the bold effect it has on the table illustrations.

September 2025: Sophie & Hugo
I created an invitation set for Sophie and Hugo last February, including a trifold ‘Itinerary of the Day’ to show the church, the wedding car, the drinks and dinner reception at Lauderdale House, in North London. For the formal invitation, the couple asked me to design a floral border in warm, late-summer colours.

At the end of August, Sophie got back in touch to ask me to convert her formal invitation design into a menu. We quickly turned this around for their early September wedding, returning again to my trusty North London printer who helped me with Sophie’s invitations. In next to no time, the menus were printed and on their way to the venue for the celebration.
